I can only hope the...er...threes of you who're aware of me will forgive me my absence. A career change has been fulfilling (and, to be crass, remunerative), but has consumed all of my free time in big, thirsty gulps.

Good renumeration is important. Living on the edge of insolvency is the mmost stressful thing there is, so I'm glad you're enjoying your work and getting paid appropriately :-)

Thank you! I’m very fortunate in my career, and try to be mindful of just how much of that is luck. Having been Real Damn Poor™️ In the past, I much prefer this.
