Oh. Oh dear. Oh no.
Jan. 9th, 2019 10:57 pmI found Hannibal’s knives.
They were designed by F.A. Porsche, designer of the Porsche 911.
I’m going to make a terrible decision.

Liminality
Dec. 10th, 2018 07:29 pmMarooned at the airport. On the second gate and the third flight delay. This space-between-spaces is, like most, characterized by neutral colors and buzzing fluorescent lights.
Mildly torturous. Other people are having conversations that could be either quieter or more interesting.
Did I just confess to eavesdropping?

I’m Not Angry, Just Disappointed
Dec. 8th, 2018 11:21 amNot a one of you told me about the killer snow globe movie, and I am very cross with all of you.

Livejournal Flashbacks
Dec. 6th, 2018 01:10 pmNot to belabor the obvious, but the Tumblr interface and the Dreamwidth interface are entirely different creatures. Naturally, Dreamwidth functionality is reminding me of LiveJournal.
I haven't given it much thought in years, but for a time it was a very important part of my online experience, and I did meet some people there who were important to me, both in terms of my writing and my personal life.
"We had a falling out, like lovers often will," to quote Bob Dylan, and I lost touch with a lot of them. But hope most of them are well.
(Caveats are inevitable, right?)

I'm another nerd fleeing the Nazis Good/Nipples Bad nonsense over at Tumblr -- you can view my old blog at
verydoubtfulguest -- and I hope to see more lovely nerdage here. I'm especially interested in all things Hannibal Lecter, so please expect a little casual cannibalism.
